Who Owns InteroCloud Data?
There are two levels of privacy to consider with InteroCloud. Account information we collect from our account holders to open their InteroCloud account (such as administrator name and billing clinic information) and patient data that our customers collect (such as patient name, demographics and medical information for medical records). Our privacy policy talks about premium which you can read here.
Patient data (records, patient profiles, appointment history, etc.) is always owned by you, our customer. So this means that InteroCloud acts as an agent that stores patient data on behalf of our customers. The account owner (you) retains ownership of all patient data.
How Do We Process Credit/Debit Card Data?
When you provide or update payment information for your InteroCloud subscription, it is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our payment processor Stripe (stripe.com). Your debit/credit card details are never saved on our servers. Your card is debited directly by Stripe who then issues the fee on our behalf.
Stripe uses and processes your payment information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
